Tooth Extraction Procedure

Learn what to expect before, during, and after your tooth extraction procedure at SJP Dental Clinic.

Before the Procedure

Consultation and X-rays: Your dentist will review your medical history and take X-rays to evaluate the tooth and surrounding bone.

Anesthesia Discussion: The dentist will discuss anesthesia options, including local anesthesia or sedation for complex cases.

During a Simple Extraction

1. Numbing

The area around the tooth will be numbed using local anesthesia so you feel pressure but not pain.
